Ibiza is a small island with an outsized mythology. For a certain clientele, it represents the most concentrated nexus of global music culture, Mediterranean gastronomy, and high-season hedonism on the planet. For another, it is a place of extraordinary natural beauty, Michelin-starred restaurants, and boutique hotels that require more discernment than any club. In both cases, how you arrive shapes how the island receives you. A Ibiza VIP transfer is the first note of the experience.
Ibiza Airport — The Summer Pressure Point
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) handles over 9 million passengers in the June-to-September window. On peak Saturdays in July and August, it processes more movements than many European hub airports — in a terminal designed for a fraction of that volume. Standard taxis queue for 40 to 90 minutes. Our drivers hold landside accreditation and meet clients inside the terminal at the arrivals barrier.
For private aviation, Ibiza's handling is managed by AMS (Aircraft Management Services) and Tag Aviation on the general aviation apron. Clients clear customs on the apron and board directly. The drive from the apron to the Dalt Vila area or Cap Martinet is 10 minutes. To the northwest — San José, Cala Conta, Cap Nono — is 20 minutes.
Marina Ibiza and the Superyacht Logistics
Marina Ibiza, adjacent to the old town, is one of the Mediterranean's most sought-after superyacht berths. In high season, access to the quayside for vehicle pick-up requires authorization that our ground team secures in advance. We position at the marina gate, not in the public road beyond.
For day-charter arrivals from Formentera, Ses Salines, or offshore anchorages, we coordinate with the marina operations desk and the tender captain to sync vehicle positioning with the actual arrival time — not the estimated time that invariably shifts by 30 to 60 minutes.
Dalt Vila, Cap Martinet and the Private Villa Roads
The UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila has vehicle access restrictions that change with the season and the event calendar. The Es Soto and Ses Taules gates have specific access windows for authorized vehicles. Our drivers know these windows and pre-position correctly.
The villa roads of Cap Martinet — private estates worth €10 million to €50 million — have no signage and no GPS precision. Our drivers have navigated every track. For villa rentals managed by Ibiza Sotheby's, Lucas Fox, or Engel & Völkers, we pre-route with the property manager before the client arrives.
The Restaurant Circuit — Nobu, Sa Brisa, Experimental
The island's top restaurant tier — Nobu Ibiza Bay, Sa Brisa, Experimental Beach, Coya Ibiza, OD Ocean Drive — operates at reservation capacity from June through September. Leaving at the right time to arrive within the reservation window, given the island's traffic, requires a driver who knows the evening road patterns.
We track live traffic from San José to Santa Eulalia every evening during season and dispatch based on actual conditions. Clients are collected at the villa at exactly the right moment — not 30 minutes early and not apologetically late.
The East and the North — Beyond San Antonio
Ibiza's quieter chapters are in the northeast: Santa Eulalia, Es Canar, Portinatx, and Cala Sant Vicent. For clients renting in these areas — often families or couples seeking the antithesis of the party scene — we operate the same standard of service as in the more visible south. Same vehicles, same discretion, different landscape.
The north's unpaved tracks require a capable vehicle. We maintain a Range Rover in the island fleet for estate access in areas where a Mercedes S-Class is impractical.
Booking in Season
From late June through mid-September, Ibiza vehicles book out early. Our recommendation: confirm your island transfer at least 5 days before arrival during peak weeks, and 14 days before for multi-week residential programmes. Off-season (October to May), 24-hour notice is sufficient.
We manage the ferry connection from Barcelona and Valencia for clients shipping their own vehicles — coordination with Balearia or Trasmediterránea and vehicle receipt on the Ibiza side.
